What we do
Make a Connection helps Australians compare electricity, gas, internet and solar plans to find a better deal. We are not a retailer or a provider. We are an independent comparison service that shows you what is available in your area so you can make an informed decision.
Our service is completely free. We may receive a referral fee from providers when you switch through us, but this does not affect the plans we show you or the price you pay. We believe everyone deserves access to clear, unbiased information about their household bills.
How we are different
Most comparison sites are built to push you toward whichever provider pays the highest commission. We take a different approach. We show you the plans available at your address based on your distribution network and location, and we tell you when your current deal is already competitive.
We source our reference pricing data from the Australian Energy Regulator (AER), the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), and the Essential Services Commission. When we quote a figure, we can tell you where it came from.

Make a Connection is an Australian-owned and operated business. We also operate makeaconnection.co.nz for New Zealand households.
