TPG Telecom-owned. Once the premium alternative to Telstra, now mid-range. Plans as at July 2026.
Our take on iiNet
iiNet was once considered the premium Australian ISP, beloved for its customer service and activist stance on internet policy. Since the TPG acquisition, customer satisfaction has declined significantly. Pricing is mid-range but no longer competitive enough to justify the brand premium. For new customers, Aussie Broadband has effectively replaced iiNet as the go-to quality ISP, while Superloop offers better value. iiNet is still a functional provider, but there is little reason to choose them over better-rated alternatives at similar prices.
