Lumo Energy is the budget-oriented sister brand to Red Energy, both owned by Snowy Hydro. Where Red Energy positions itself as a premium option with features like real-time usage tracking, Lumo focuses on simple, competitive pricing without the extras. If you want the government-owned renewable backing of Snowy Hydro but at a lower price point, Lumo is worth comparing. Customer satisfaction is average for the industry.
