Our take on Swoop
Swoop has built one of the strongest reputations of any Australian internet provider, with a 4.9 out of 5 rating from over 5,700 ProductReview reviews and a "highly commended" placing in Finder's 2026 awards for ultrafast NBN speeds. It offers both standard NBN and fixed wireless, which is useful if fixed wireless coverage at your address makes it a cheaper or faster alternative to NBN.
The main thing to watch is that Swoop's cheapest advertised prices are often 6-month introductory offers rather than the ongoing rate, so check what you will actually pay from month seven onwards before committing. With no lock-in contracts, switching later if the price rise does not suit you is straightforward.
